What is your social media handle?

Tell us a little bit about your business.

I started Bianca Milov Jewelry in 2013. It is a lifestyle inspired jewelry line, most of which is handmade with high-quality materials and semi-precious stones. The brand’s aesthetic mirrors my own, which is a simple style with bohemian influences. Inspired by a love nature and travels, the line has something for everyone. You can wear the pieces every day, layered (my favorite way) or on their own. The line ranges from necklaces to earrings and we have a very popular men’s line.

Halloween! I love being able to dress up, go all out with makeup and costumes and express whatever I want to transform into that year.

I loved all the Nick shows. Salute your shorts, All That, Doug, Rugrats. The usual suspects.

What was your favorite toy as a kid?

The Skip It! I’ve been thinking of getting one recently.

What did you want to be when grew up when you were a kid?

A veterinarian. Then I found out you have to put animals to sleep and that was too sad for me.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

Pale Dogwood aka Millennial Pink. I’ve always loved pink and this is a color in the scheme of my brand and my life!

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?

A sloth. They move at my kind of pace.

I make a lot of lists (is that nerdy?)

What’s the strangest talent you have?

I am pretty good at devil sticks! I picked it up when I was a kid and still play around with them. I guess that’s more random than strange.

Do you have any strange phobias?

I am scared of being chased! Even if I know the chaser well, I always run away.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to fly! Flying dreams are my favorite, I hate waking up from them.

McDonalds’ hash browns.

What song is on repeat?

-Loving the whole new XX album, I See You.

Can you share any tips for anyone getting into the same career as you?

When I started out it was just a hobby, so I didn’t have a plan to start, but I went for it. So my advice is to do just that! I do recommend having a plan, but if you have a passion for creating or anything, go for it because you’ll be so much happier knowing you’re doing what you love and enjoying yourself. There’s a lot of mistakes and learning, but the lessons are invaluable.

Share one invaluable business skill you have.

Communication is key!

What is your favorite feature on any social media platform?

I love the Instagram stories! I used Snapchat just for personal use and always wished I could have a similar outlet for my brand to show what’s happening behind the scenes, what inspires me, etc. So it’s a great way to share even more with your followers.

How do you think social media has helped your business?

Social media, especially Instagram, is a great way to talk to your customers and followers directly. You can get a great feel for what designs people are loving, you’re able to answer any questions customers may have, and you can let people know what you’re all about through photos, which I love. I love being able to interact with my community in a way that feels more like a conversation.

What is the most important aspect of social media marketing for you?

I always make sure I am engaging with my followers. Answering any questions, replying, re-posting any relevant photos, giving credit, etc.

What is your best tip for social media success?

Post consistently and stick to your brand’s aesthetic so people know what you’re about and what kind of content they’ll be getting from you.
